As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to thank everyone who helped start conversations, share resources, and remind others that mental health matters.

While May may be ending, the importance of mental health doesn't end with a calendar month. Every day, people in our community are navigating challenges that aren't always visible—and every day, support, compassion, and connection can make a difference.

We're taking a break from Mental Health Month today to congratulate ARTURO (Support Counselor 1 at Casa de Noche Buena) on his graduation from UC BERKELEY! He graduated with a double Bachelor's in Psychology and Social Welfare.

He's the first in his family to graduate and shared that "this is a big achievement for me because coming from a family of hard-working immigrants where education isn't valued as much as hard labor is, I still decided to pursue education annd got accepted in the number 1 public university in the US."

We're so proud of you, Arturo, and lucky to have you as part of the CHS team!
