We are thrilled to award grants to 14 incredible organizations doing the vital work in our community to transform care. From organizations supporting children and families through the toughest times to those easing the burden for our aging population, these grantees help ensure everyone in Monterey, San Benito, and southern Santa Cruz counties has access to compassionate, dignified care when they need it most.

These organizations embody our mission and help bring together a stronger, more caring community, and we’re honored to partner with them.

We had so much fun hosting everyone at this year’s The Scramble on Monday, August 24. Flipping through the pictures takes us right back to connecting with you all.

Thanks to the incredible collection of golfers, sponsors, and guests, we collectively raised over $198,000 in service of HGF’s mission! We are in awe of your commitment to helping our community have exceptional end-of-life care. To all of you who joined us for a beautiful day on the course, we thank you, and we can’t wait to have you join us again in 2028!

For the last five years, Hospice Giving Foundation has been honored to lead the Día de los Mu***os celebration in Salinas with our partners Hartnell College and Hijos del Sol. Last Friday night, we celebrated what’s next. 🦋

We joined 200+ neighbors, artists, and leaders from City Hall to the State Capitol for the Grand Opening of the Alebrijes & Nahuales exhibit. As the presenting sponsor, HG Foundation CEO & President Erin White shared why this moment matters to us: these alebrijes, inspired by artist Amauri Sanabria’s work, helped shape the world-famous Día de los Mu***os parade in Mexico City, and now inspire Salinas’ own growing celebration.

We’re proud to pass the torch to the City of Salinas and stand behind the incredible vision of the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce and the arts community as this tradition grows even bigger. We’re also deeply grateful to the Arts Council for Monterey County for their partnership, to Esmeralda Montenegro Owen for the heart and hustle she brought to this exhibit as a true supporter of HGF’s mission, and to Mag One Media for these beautiful photos. 📸
