Music writer and historian John Brackett will be at California's First Theater to give a multimedia presentation and talk about the Dead and his new book, "Touch of Grey, or How the Grateful Dead Became Pop Stars." Free. Wednesday, August 26th - 6pm.

This Saturday, August 22nd, instructor Sahar Jabr will show you how to turn turn a memory, place, or emotion into felt using wet felting techniques. The process is gentle, tactile, and meditative. If you would like to donate supplies, please drop them off at The Hot Spot Studio at 458 Alvarado Street in Downtown Monterey today (Wed, 8/12) before 8pm and tomorrow (Thu, 8/13), 11am-1pm.

Readymade meals
Snacks
Baked Goods
Nonperishable items
Cards of gratitude for the front-line workers
