WE NEED YOU! Trunk or Treat Volunteers Wanted!

Our 3rd Annual Frank Wagner Elementary Trunk or Treat is right around the corner, and we need YOUR help to make it another amazing evening for our students and families!

THIS IS A PUBLIC EVENT 🎃

The FWE PTO is looking for some wonderful volunteers, creative minds, and community members who would love to join in the fun!

Here are a few ways you can help:

Face Painting: Love getting creative? You don’t have to be a professional artist! A little creativity and enthusiasm go a long way.
Temporary Tattoo Station: Help our little ghosts and goblins pick out some fun temporary tattoos!
Host a Trunk: Decorate your vehicle, dress up, and hand out candy! We provide the candy, you bring the creativity!
Event Setup & Helping Hands: Help us get everything ready and keep the fun running smoothly!
Share a Special Talent: Can you make balloon animals? Perform magic tricks? Have another fun skill kids would love? We’d love to hear from you! We may have space for you to host an activity table inside!

You don’t have to be a PTO member or even have a student at Frank Wagner to volunteer! Parents, grandparents, older siblings, friends, and community members are all welcome!

Whether you can give a little time or a lot, every helping hand makes a difference.

Tuesday, October 27th
5:00–7:30 PM
Frank Wagner Elementary, Monroe

Our PTO works hard to make events like this possible, but it’s our amazing families and community who truly bring them to life!

Interested in helping? Comment below, send us a message, or use the sign-up QR code on our flyer!

And even if you can’t volunteer, we’d love to see you there! Come enjoy the festivities and help us celebrate another wonderful year of Trunk or Treat!

Great community. Great school. Let’s make year three our best one yet!

🍬👹 CANDY MONSTER UPDATE! 👹🍬

Our Candy Monster is getting hungry, and he needs YOUR help! 😋 We’ve had some great donations so far, but he still has plenty of room in his belly. Let’s see which grade can feed him the most candy before our annual Trunk or Treat! 🎃

📊 Here’s where we stand:

🍎 Kindergarten: 7.2 lbs
🥇 1st Grade: 4.6 lbs
🥈 2nd Grade: 5 lbs
🍬 3rd Grade: 1.4 lbs
👀 4th Grade: 0 lbs
👀 5th Grade: 0 lbs

Kindergarten is in the lead, but it’s a close race for second place! 👀🏆

The Candy Monster is HUNGRY! 🥺🍭 Keep those candy donations coming! Every little bit helps, and we can’t wait to see which grade comes out on top!

📣 IMPORTANT: Be sure to write your child’s grade level on all candy donations so we can give credit to the right class!

Let’s feed that monster,

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our PTO meeting last night!

We loved trying out a more open, round-table format and hearing everyone’s ideas about how we can support our students, teachers, and school this year. We came away with some really great ideas!

One thing we’d love to do this year is set a PTO fundraising goal; something tangible that we can all work toward together and see the impact of our fundraising throughout the year.

Some ideas that came out of our conversation include:

📣 An electronic reader board for the school
🎨 An after-school club led by an outside organization
🔬 A STEM assembly or special STEM experience for our students

We’d love to hear from YOU! What would you like to see our PTO work toward this year? Drop your ideas in the comments! 👇

Our goal is to choose something meaningful for our students and then work together as a school community to make it happen.

Thank you again to everyone who shared their time, ideas, and enthusiasm with us! We’re excited about what we can accomplish together this year! 🐾

🍬👻 HELP FEED OUR CANDY MONSTER! 👻

Our Candy Monster is getting hungry, and we need your help! 🎃

We’re collecting bags of individually wrapped candy to use at our Frank Wagner Elementary Trunk or Treat—and there’s a little friendly competition involved! 🏆

It’s a contest between the grades!
The grade that collects the most candy will earn some serious bragging rights! 🎉

👉 Be sure to write your student’s grade on the bag of candy you donate so we can count it toward their grade.

Let’s see which grade can FEED THE MONSTER the most! 🍭🍫🍬

Thank you for helping make Trunk or Treat a sweet success! 🎃🖤
