πŸΎπŸ’žπŸŽ‰ EADIE....A year of tiny victories πŸŽ‰πŸ’–πŸΎ

A year ago, Eadie arrived at the rescue terrified of people. (See intake pictures in comments)

She came in with her siblings, and one by one they found homes...but Eadie stayed behind 😿

For months, she wanted nothing to do with us. A touch was out of the question. Even being near people was scary.

We didn't give up on her.

Day after day, week after week, we worked at Eadie's pace, letting her learn that people could be kind and that she was safe.

And while she may have been scared, she certainly wasn't boring. Not once, but TWICE, Eadie managed to escape and take herself on an unscheduled tour of the rescue before eventually becoming very hungry and was caught. Apparently, she felt it was important to inspect the place on her own terms.

This video may not look like much to some people, but to us it's EVERYTHING!!

After months of patience, trust, and gentle encouragement, Eadie is allowing pets from Penny our Director who is one of the only people she trusts. (Yet!)

The hardest part of Eadie's journey isn't learning to trust anymore......it's finding someone willing to give her a chance 😻

After everything she has overcome, we hope her person is out there waiting to see what we see - a cat who never gave up trying, even when being brave was very hard.

Now let's work some magic and SHARE her story so Eadie has the ending she's been dreaming of πŸ’–πŸΎπŸ’–

Have we said how much we appreciate our prior adopters before?πŸ˜ΈπŸ’–πŸ˜»

These wonderful adopters have already taken home two babies from us... Now they're adopting Rosie to add to their happy family. Rosie will have two other playmates and friends for life.

Remember if you've adopted from us before.... You can come in anytime and adopt again without going through the adoption process... We just know there's more of you out there thinking about it every time you see one of those cute kittens πŸ’–πŸ˜Έ.
