This Grandparents Day (Sunday, 9/13), take a moment to honor the incredible seniors who shaped your life—and extend that love to someone who needs it most. ❤️
Most people don’t realize how many nursing home residents live without family nearby or the extra funds to buy everyday essentials. Right now, we’re receiving requests for simple items most of us take for granted: new underwear, clothes, boxes of their favorite cereal, and simple reading glasses.
At Ray4Hope, we believe no senior should ever feel forgotten. ☀️
Together, we’re bringing warmth, laughter, and light into spaces that can often feel lonely. Your support fuels our Adopt a Grandparent program, grants personal wishes through our Grand Wish Program, funds hands-on craft projects, and hosts uplifting community events—like our big Tailgate Party coming up in November! 🏈🍁
Here is how you can make a difference today:
🎁 Adopt a Grandparent: Help a local resident remember the joy of Christmas. Your $30 donation ensure a resident receives a Bag full of gifts on Christmas morning.
💛 Donate in Honor: Donate in memory or honor of a grandparent or loved one who spent time in a care facility.
Let’s show our local seniors they are seen, loved, and celebrated.

August was a month full of heart, community, and incredible impact! We are still smiling looking back at everything we accomplished together, and we couldn't be more grateful.
Here is a quick look at what made August so special:
50/50 Raffle Success: On August 8th, we held our very first 50/50 raffle and raised $2,200! The winning half—$1,100—is going directly toward funding upcoming Ray4Hope projects. For our first time running this event, we are absolutely blown away by the response!
Wellsprings Nursing home: On August 26th, our team spent a joyful day with the residents at Wellsprings senior living center. We spent the day painting nails, chatting, and helping residents build and paint many colorful birdhouses.
None of this happens without the incredible people in our corner. To every single volunteer who gave their time, hands, and heart, and to everyone in the community who bought a ticket or shared a warm smile: thank you. Your continued support is the heartbeat of our mission, and you are bringing so much light and connection to our local seniors.
We can't wait to see what we build together next! Stay tuned, September we will be granting 7 wishes 🥳

We are at LaRoy’s Banquet Hall until 1 PM! Advocating for our seniors in need and spreading our message of bringing joy to the world one grandparent at a time! Here today are all kinds of nursing homes, care centers, dementia services and more! 😊💛

Wednesday, August 26th at 2pm.
We will be painting nails and building bird houses with the seniors in a local nursing home. Let us know if you want to join.

Granting Wishes, Bringing Joy: Carol’s Special Day ❤️✨
At Ray4Hope, there is nothing quite like seeing the spark of pure joy when a Grand Wish comes true. Recently, we had the honor of granting a wish for sweet Carol, a resident at Fountain View Nursing Home. Carol is a proud military veteran, a devoted wife of 30 years, and a loving mother to her daughter.
When we asked Carol what she missed most from home, her list was full of comfort and simple pleasures: BBQ ribs from Happy’s Pizza, good shampoo, makeup, and Dove body wash.
Thanks to our wonderful community, we were able to grant those wishes and shower her with a few extra surprises! With every single gift she unwrapped, her eyes lit up as she exclaimed, "Wow, how did you know this was my favorite?" and "I sure do love this!"
While she loved it all, her absolute favorite was her new makeup collection—especially the lipsticks! In fact, she was so excited that she asked to put on her bright new red lipstick right away.
When we asked, "Do you want to wait until after you eat your rib dinner and chocolate cake?" she gave us a big, beaming smile and said, "No, I really want to put the lipstick on now!" 💄✨
Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. Bringing dignity, comfort, and big smiles to incredible seniors like Carol is only possible because of your generosity.

Happy 22nd Birthday to my daughter, Laynie! 🥳 Our very own, Ray4Hope’s Vice President!

Finding the words to express how proud I am is hard, but I will try.
You have a heart of pure gold—you are genuinely one of the sweetest, kindest, and happiest people I know. Your bright energy is magnetic, and people are naturally drawn to the light and joy you bring into every room.
Watching you chase your dreams as a college junior studying for your Bachelor’s in Nursing makes my heart swell. You are going to be the most compassionate nurse!
Ever since you were 15, when we started Ray4Hope together to make sure seniors in nursing homes feel loved, cherished, and remembered, you have shown the world what true service looks like. Your passion for helping others is unmatched!!
As if this week wasn't special enough, you are taking the stage this Saturday to compete for Miss Monroe County! No matter what happens, you are already a queen in my eyes and in the eyes of everyone whose life you've touched.
Enjoy your special day, my sweet girl. Keep shining bright! I love you beyond words❤️
