Last night we had the honor of attending the Ms. Senior Monroe 2026 celebration hosted by the Monroe Aging Consortium! We are so thankful to have been invited to listen to each incredible woman share her “Philosophy of Life.” Their stories, wisdom, and positivity were truly inspiring.
We’re also excited to officially become members of the Monroe Aging Consortium this morning and look forward to continuing to support and connect with the amazing seniors in our community. ❤️

💜 Our First Grand Wish Project 💜
We are so excited to announce our very first Grand Wish Project for Donna, a permanent resident in a nursing home who will soon be celebrating her 90th birthday! 🎉
Donna’s surprise birthday party is coming together beautifully, and we would love your help making her day extra special. Her only birthday wish was a dollar store gift card, but we would also love to shower her with thoughtful gifts and reminders that she is loved and celebrated.
Donations must be dropped off before 5/20/26

IMAGINE going days, weeks, or even months without something as simple as your favorite meal, a new pair of slippers, or a birthday celebration. For many nursing home residents these small comforts are often out of reach.
Laynie and I are so excited to announce we are expanding our impact beyond the holiday season. We developed the
Grand Wish Project - an initiative designed to fulfill meaningful, personalized wishes throughout the year.
You can help us turn simple wishes into Moments of joy.
We are honored to share with you our first wish:
Sweet Grandma Donna at Medilodge nursing home.
We met her while polishing nails and found out she has a 90th birthday next week. When asked what her birthday wish, she replied, she wanted nothing. After laughing together and going on she finally said if I have to choose a new car. We asked will you drive it? She said I can’t but I don’t need anything and I would prefer to help others ♥️ We were are able to get a few things from her she may want.
We are collecting donations for her birthday party at THE QUARRY!!
Please drop off any donations before 5/20.

We're making a difference by turning small wishes into reality ♥️. We were privileged to surprise this lovely grandma at our local nursing home with a delicious lunch on Saturday, and her heartfelt feedback - 'it was delicious' - spoke volumes. Her bright smile lit up the room when sharing her experience.

We're beyond thrilled to grant a heartfelt wish upon a truly wonderful grandma at Wellsprings this Friday, even before our wish day becomes official! It's a joyous moment we get to share with you, and we eagerly anticipate the pictures we'll receive on Friday. Our mission is to spread joy throughout the year. We have decided to give wishes thoroughout the year and grand wishes on Grandparents Day.

Help us name our new special day that brings joy to grandparents in nursing homes. We will be granting wishes for grandparents in nursing homes on Grandparents day! We are looking for a title that embodies hope and celebrates the comfort of grandparental and senior love, current suggestions include:
Golden Wishes, Grandparent Wish Day, Cherished Wishes.
Example of wishes to be granted will be:
Recreating a favorite meal
Music visits
Pet visits
Favorite movie theme night
Small bucket list
Birthday celebration
Feel free to make suggestions for this as well.

Ray4Hope shared love and companionship with the residents of Wellsprings nursing home today. Our volunteers spent hours painting nails and engaging in delightful conversations with the seniors. We appreciate the time and effort contributed by Lisa Harder Middleton of Card My Yard and Tonya Lynn from Relativity & Co. I asked each resident about their favorite memories of home, and Mary Ann, seated in the middle, mentioned craving chicken wings. We will be surprising her with this treat soon.

Spreading love one manicure at a time 💅💗 On Friday, February 13th, our volunteers had the best afternoon painting nails and getting residents ready for their Valentine’s Day celebration. Thank you to everyone that came out to help, the residents and us appreciate your help and commitment to the community more than you know! 💌
