Thank you to all who RSVP'ed and attended the banquet. Now that the banquet is over, let the fall festivities begin! Teen Ambassadors is hosting their 9th Annual Trunk or Treat! 🎃 Make sure to add this to your calendar. All clubs are welcome to participate. Just make sure to let the Extension Office know so enough space can be planned for you.

What an amazing recognition opportunity. Did you know that there were NO Monroe County candidates in 2024 and only one in 2025?! If you know a 4-H youth who showed great sportsmanship in livestock this year, fill out the application before 10/15!

Can you think of someone who displayed extraordinary sportsmanship at a recent 4-H animal science program? Perhaps at a club meeting, clinic, or the county fair? Nominate them for the 2026 Michigan 4-H Animal Science Sportsperson of the Year Award!
This annual award recognizes one youth member and one adult 4-H leader who exemplify the definition of sportsmanship and have gone above and beyond to lend a helping hand to those around them during animal science programs. Were you unable to pick up your SAA Auction check at the banquet this year? Have no fear, they are available to pick up during regular business hours, at the Monroe County 4-H Extension Office. For those who are new, this building is located off of Rasinville Road next to the Monroe County Mental Health.

Hopefully you were able to RSVP for the SAA Auction Banquet on Sunday, September 20th.
Who is ready for some delicious tasting food and desserts? 🍀🍽🍀
Just a reminder the Banquet starts at 5pm. There will be dinner, awards, and voting for the next year SAA youth board. To be eligible to vote, the youth voter must have shown anytype of animal in the SAA barn this year. You did not have to sell that animal to be able to vote. See you there!

Are you wanting to make a difference? That is part of the 4-H motto after all! 😊🍀
We are looking for nominations for youth and adults who would like to join the SAA board. You must be 4-H age 1️⃣2️⃣ or older to be on the board. As well as attend most meetings and workshops, be present for barn set up, animal check in, check out, etc. If this is you or know of anyone who would like to be on the ballot please private message us their name. Voting will take place at the banquet in September. 🗳☑️
