The Ciceronian Society

The Ciceronian Society The Ciceronian Society is an intellectual society devoted to the examination of three core themes: Tradition, Place, and ‘Things Divine.’

The Ciceronian Society facilitates the development of academic conferences that explore the many and various topics related to our core themes of Tradition, Place, and ‘Things Divine.’

Papers delivered at Ciceronian Society Conferences can find a publishable home in our sister journal: ANAMNESIS. Our annual conference is usually held at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Maryland. Regional conferen

ces are in the works at various locations around the United States, and we typically have a panel at the American Political Science Association's annual meeting. We invite interested scholars and independent intellectuals to join our efforts and contribute to the development of our conferences. Through this partnering process at regional Ciceronian Society Conferences, we look forward to a burgeoning of serious discussion about our core themes.
