My Sistah’s Pink Journey understands that if it weren’t for the amazing members of our community we would not be able to fulfill our mission. We would like to take a moment to Thank the Ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Inkster Alumnae Chapter PROTOTYPE 26 for their amazing donation. They donated an abundance of much needed items for our MSPJ Comfort Basket Program. There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude. Thank You ladies for helping MSPJ be a blessing to our community.

Alcohol and breast cancer: what’s the connection?

The updated 2025–2030 U.S. Dietary Guidelines no longer warn about the risk of breast and other cancers with alcohol consumption. The new guidelines now advise adults to simply "limit alcohol beverages," moving away from specific daily drink limits (which were formerly two drinks a day for men and one drink for women).

Research continues to show that alcohol use is linked to a higher risk of breast cancer, even at low levels. Risk is never one-size-fits-all and is also influenced by many other factors including genetics, hormones, and environment, but alcohol is a key modifiable risk factor.

The only way we are able to fulfill the mission of My Sistah’s Pink Journey is because of the generous donations and support from our community. When someone is diagnosed with cancer it affects the entire family. Our mission for Christmas is to fill our recipients home with some love, hope and joy via gifts We would like to take the time to thank our amazing Adopt A Family Christmas Sponsors for their willingness to help us bring some love, hope and joy via gifts to our families.
