The Montana Two Spirit Society represented at the Spokane Two Spirit Powwow and in the Spokane Pride Parade last Saturday, June 13th.

Steven Barrios, co-founder and wisdom keeper of the Montana Two Spirit Society, was selected to be the Spokane Pride Parade's Indigenous Grand Marshall and was also selected to provide the opening blessing at the Spokane Two Spirit Powwow.

During the afternoon we had the pleasure of attending a lovely indigenous fashion show. What amazing designers we have in our communities, we are so proud of our relatives!

It was a wonderful weekend celebrating the greater two spirit community, supporting Spokane Pride, meeting new friends, and catching up with friends and family.
