CAJA CAJA 3 Community Action for Justice in the Americas, Africa, Asia We have put substantial thought into identifying the essence of CAJA.

We hope you agree and will join with us if you want to help put this into action:

CAJA connects the Missoula (and Montana) community to social/economic/environmental justice & human rights issues they care about. CAJA collaborates with past “CAJAistas” and supporters. CAJA creates a forum/sounding board for activists, students, researchers and educators and people from the “Global South” to tell

their stories of justice and human rights. CAJA unifies Montana voices into actions that take our collective hopes, but also our demands, for peace and justice to decision makers and partner organizations worldwide. CAJA is about solutions, about the power of community, knowledge and art to make a just world.

Join us on Thursday, Feb. 17, for the launch of a new book edited by Vandana Shiva: Philanthrocapitalism and the Erosion of Democracy. In a conversation with Vandana Shiva and Heather Day of Community Alliance for Global Justice, you’ll learn how global capitalists wield philanthropy to monopolize and privatize land use, food production, and the public health sector—and how citizens are fighting back.
