A huge thank you to our friends at the Tri-County Humane Society! They stocked us up with basic pet supplies in advance of the first shelter guests moving into Avivo Village Central Minnesota, along with their pets. We are grateful to have partners like the Tri-County Humane Society who help us ensure that we have needed supplies for pets when people move into Avivo Village.

If you're interested in supporting Avivo Village Central Minnesota as we get ready for the first individuals to move, we still have quite a few needs on our Wish List you can find at https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/2HVJJ8TZ0CJSQ or https://www.target.com/gift-registry/gift-giver?registryId=ac9c3830-a218-11f1-b49d-33a8dd9813cf&type=CHARITY

Thanks to Ramsey County Commissioner Rena Moran for visiting Avivo Village to see it, speak with staff, and learn more about the steps we've taken to allow people to feel welcome and dignified as they work toward finding permanent housing. We were excited to see that Commissioner Moran included her visit to Avivo in her monthly newsletter for September!

See the whole person: housing, recovery, education, employment. See Avivo.

Give to the whole person:

While others focus on one need, Avivo sees the whole picture—housing, recovery, education, employment—creating a connected path from day-to-day survival to lasting stability.

What an incredible day in St. Cloud!

Yesterday, we celebrated the ribbon cutting for Avivo Village Central Minnesota, a major milestone in creating safer, more dignified pathways indoors for people experiencing unsheltered homelessness in central Minnesota.

This vision became reality through the dedication and partnership of so many. We're also deeply grateful to the many partners across who worked together to make this project possible. We're also grateful for the incredible turnout yesterday!

When shelter guests begin arriving later this month, they'll find 48 private dwellings, on-site health care, mental health and recovery support, housing-focused case management, space for pets and belongings, and a community built around dignity, safety, and hope.

Thanks to the Avivo staff who made the trek to Duluth for this year's Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless Annual Conference! In addition to workshops and speakers to learn more, this year featured Avivo staff on an ImpactMN panel.
