Have you ever wondered "What does a crisis look like," "How do I support someone who is panicking," or "How do I support my friends and neighbors after a trauma?"

If yes, please come join our Intern Advocate Levi for their "Support a Human in Crisis" training! This is a 90-minute training on crisis response and psychological first aid. They will cover the physiological and behavioral responses to trauma, skills on how to verbally engage individuals, and go over the 5 Pillars of Care in psychological first aid response.
This training will be through the lenses of sexual violence advocacy and verbal de-escalation.

Levi is currently an Intern at the Sexual Violence Center. They have experience engaging with the community through clinical experience, crisis line advocacy, and mutual aid efforts. They are offering this training as a way to re-imagine crisis and community response without police intervention.
