🌱 What started as empty garden beds at Seward Towers West turned into an afternoon of community gardening. Residents, volunteers, and building staff came together to plant fresh flowers and greenery, bringing life back to the building’s main entrance. Neighbors thanked us in various ways, and some even shared homemade Somali-spiced coffee. Thank you to everyone who helped bring new life to these shared spaces.

This Thursday - join the community hearing on the HERC. Hosted by Healthcare Professionals for a Healthy Climate, Minnesota Nurses Association, Zero Burn Coalition, Health Students for a Healthy Climate, and Minnesota Doctors for Health Equity at the Minneapolis American Indian Center, 6:30pm - 8pm.

This session will feature health professionals and researchers discussing the health impacts the HERC has on our community. All are welcome to attend, scan the QR code to register.

Join us on Friday nights in Seward for community activities 🧑‍🤝‍🧑✨

4/10: Bring your own creative project to work on, or come to learn a new one. This is a great opportunity to get out of the house while working on your knit sweater to meet other people doing the same! Don’t have a current project, but need some creative inspiration? We’ve got you covered—and the snacks too ;)

4/17: We’ll set up a cozy spot and bring in Pizza Luce + popcorn for a more community-focused movie night. Bring your friends and unwind!

4/24: Bring a game from home, or come empty-handed to join a new game and meet some new people! As always, all ages are welcome :)
