🚧CONSTRUCTION UPDATE🚧
Road closure on 3rd Avenue in Minneapolis begins June 1

Crews have wrapped up installing a new sewer system near the intersection of Franklin Avenue (County Road 5) and 5th Avenue in South Minneapolis.

Starting on Monday June 1, crews will continue installing a new sewer system and will be shifting work to 3rd Avenue.

Here’s what you can expect:
Monday, June 1 through Friday, June 19
- Northbound 3rd Avenue will be closed from Franklin Avenue to 19th Street.
- The detour route for this closure is 24th Avenue, Nicollet Avenue, Grant Street, and 2nd Avenue.

Dates are tentative and subject to change.

Pick up after your pup- 3 pet waste stations have been freshly installed in our neighborhood!

If you find yourself out walking and run out of bags, we've got you!

Stevens Square Park
Overlook Garden
LaSalle Community Garden

Please feel free to let us know if when they are empty so we can refill them.

Here's to keeping our neighborhood cleaner and pet waste-free!
