Over 6,000 meals are served each year through this program. A meal has been served to the poor and needy at Wesley every Saturday since the 1960's. Each Saturday the program brings volunteer churches or organizations and people in need together, for a time of fellowship and dinner. ers come from all over the Twin Cities area. Wesley is the host for every meal, providing coordinators and volunteers to work with the organization providing the meal. There's no food line at Wesley. Our guests are invited in and seated at tables that are set - just as we would our own family, complete with tablecloths and silverware. Food is served by volunteers and the volunteers sit with the guests for the meal. It's not a soup kitchen. Wesley has maintained high standards for the food. The meal is always a complete meal. The meal begins at 11:30 am and is usually completed by 1 pm.
