Join us for YEA! this year! Climate Generation's Youth Climate Justice Activists! (YEA!) program is accepting applications for next school year.
Become a YEA! member:
YEA! members meet every Wednesday from 6:30-8 pm at the Climate Generation Office. This is a space where students can meet, learn, and be in community with one another. Some topics we had the opportunity to explore last year were Climate Justice 101, storytelling, fast fashion, field trips, and more. Look forward to possible arcs including reforestation, food sovereignty, boycott and divestment, and more!
Become a YEA! Leader:
YEA! Leaders meet every Wednesday from 5-8 pm. This is an opportunity for leaders to receive a monthly stipend while working closely with Climate Generation staff on projects former leaders have fostered in years past. Projects include the Youth Climate Justice Summit, the Climate Justice Education Bill, the Youth Action Fund, and co-facilitating YEA! meetings. Staff will be there to support your autonomy, decision-making, and anything else that you might need.
