Every Laborer remembers the journeyworker who showed them the ropes. Our apprentices learn the trade from you on the job site every day, and good mentoring keeps them safe, skilled and in the trade for the long haul.
Apprenticeship Minnesota (MN Department of Labor and Industry) is offering a paid, four-part Journeyworker Mentorship Cohort. You’ll learn practical ways to build trust with apprentices, create a crew where they feel safe asking questions, and adjust to how each person learns best.
📅 Sessions (all 2–4 p.m.):
Tue., Oct. 20: in person at DLI, St. Paul
Tue., Oct. 27: virtual
Wed., Nov. 4: virtual
Tue., Nov. 10: in person at DLI, St. Paul
💵 Complete all four sessions and earn a $1,000 incentive. There’s no partial payment, so plan to attend every session.
