New Age Urban Development - NAUD Dedicated to serving our under privileged youth we offer a variety of programs for the upliftment of our community. Welcome! New Age Urban Development (N.A.U.D.)

We specialize in offering the type of programming that features structure and discipline while also encouraging self sufficiency. is based in North Minneapolis in a former well-known drug area. When founder Craig Bell Bey purchased his house, the block was in it’s peak of open criminal activity. Our first move was to stop the drug selling. After we accomplished that we wanted to create a boxing p

rogram. It started with four sticks in the ground with rope wrapped around them in the four corners of the backyard thus starting the program. The kids of the neighborhood loved it! We already knew our kids had fighting spirits, they just needed to be shown how to channel that aggression productively. That was 9 years ago. Now we have been blessed with a standard size boxing ring and now offer teen pregnancy awareness, empowerment and resume classes. We also have the N.A.U.D. Dance group. We don't get much money doing this, but sometimes the will to make a difference is enough, and we see the same drive in all of you.

Products

Boxing class-Our boxing class is designed to incorporate structure and discipline. We offer weight training, conditioning, sparring and self-defense techniques. We also have a standard regulation 16x16 boxing ring. Classes are open to individuals of all ages.
Resume/Computer Class- Our resume/computer classes are designed to take you from filling out the application, to doing a mach interview. We also offer basic computer skill classes as well as refresher courses. Our objective is to teach individuals how to write professional resumes and interview successfully.
Job Skills Class- New Urban Development also has a construction company. We offer job training to those individuals interested in pursuing a career in the construction field. Individuals will learn a variety of skills such as drywalling, painting, carpentry, etc...
