The Star Tribune recently reported: “A handful of Minnesota universities are part of a growing national trend that has students earning undergraduate degrees that require 90 credits, rather than the typical 120 credits. School officials say the degrees meet students’ and employers’ needs without sacrificing quality at a time when higher education is under attack due to rising tuition, student debt and doubts about return on investment.”
