The Star Tribune recently reported: “A handful of Minnesota universities are part of a growing national trend that has students earning undergraduate degrees that require 90 credits, rather than the typical 120 credits. School officials say the degrees meet students’ and employers’ needs without sacrificing quality at a time when higher education is under attack due to rising tuition, student debt and doubts about return on investment.”

The King Center is hosting a Beloved Community Commemorative Service live from Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. Honorees include Viola Davis and Dr. Dorothy Jean Tillman. Anika Noni Rose is a host, and Chance the Rapper is slated to perform.
