Forests for Monarchs has been selected to participate in Ma Earth’s global matching campaign, running from July 1–21.

This campaign works a little differently from a traditional fundraiser. Through Ma Earth’s quadratic funding model, the number of individual donors matters — not just the total amount raised. That means every person who gives helps us unlock additional matching funds, and even a small donation can go further.

We were recently in Mexico meeting with landowners and community partners, and one message came through again and again: they want their forests back. They also want forests that can support future generations through restoration, conservation, and sustainable livelihoods.

That’s exactly what Forests for Monarchs is working toward.

During this 21-day campaign, we have the opportunity to receive up to $15,000 in matching funds to support our reforestation work in Mexico.
