We are working to

create greater understanding and appreciation across cultures by making personal and professional connections that help break through systemic racism.

Hello Colleagues!
We have been nominated for an Atomic Grant from the Passion Collective! But we can’t win without a lot of votes!

We will be focusing on Fundraising in 2022, with a goal to create additional capacity and support to ensuring we can continue to serve BIPOC Business – this grant could be a great start to something!

Please take a moment to vote for MBGA by using the below link and forward this link to friends and family to vote – would love it if you could also post this on your social media feed!
Let’s see if we can win this!

Atomic® Grants give cash and coaching to women who are making positive change happen. We launched in 2019 and saw a terrific response from women who were seeking change — from deepening or evolving their careers to helping other women with new business ideas.

In recognition of National American Indian Heritage Month, we are excited to share another local success story.
Northland Visions has been a thriving specialty store for over 20 years, growing from a home-based, mail-order business into a gallery and retail space where one can find treasures of the land, original items made by Native peoples from the Woodland and Plains tribes of the upper Midwest in what is now Minnesota, the Dakotas, Wisconsin, Canada and other northern states stretching from Montana to the east coast.
"Many people in the community have very great pride in our success and they are feeling a sense of ownership. We here at Northland Visions are proud to be a part of this growing community, to share with others what the community has to offer through arts, foods and the culture."

Before the snow begins to fly, get to their shop to see all their beautiful treasures, local foods, glorious art, and beads!
Forget jigsaw puzzles - the craft of beading is so much more fun. Northland Visions - Native Art & Gifts

Dayton’s Project Opens to the Public Nov. 18
Project leaders have scheduled a “maker’s market” featuring 30 local vendors.
The maker’s market aims to play on Minnesotans’ nostalgia for holiday shopping at Dayton’s — and potentially lure some new tenants in the process. “This is an incubator model that will help smaller retailers get their feet under them for a more permanent location in the building,” the spokeswoman said. https://tcbmag.com/daytons-project-opens-to-the-public-nov-18/?
