For International Fentanyl and Overdose Awareness and Prevention Month, and with our kids headed back to school in a couple weeks, it’s important to keep in mind the threat opioids pose to our youth. Be sure to have a chat with your kids before the school year about how to stay safe from deadly drugs, and keep sharing stories with us about why you’re in the fight against fentanyl!

What a night at Lindstrom's Harmony in the Park! 🎶 Leah Gleason and Theresa Egan staffed our resource table, connecting with community members of all ages about the dangers of illicit fentanyl and handing out free Narcan. With Kat Perkins from The Voice Season 6 entertaining over 560 people, it was truly a beautiful night of music, food, and connection. Thank you to everyone who stopped by! 💜

We are losing generations worth of Americans to the opioid crisis. Fentanyl has remained the top drug threat in the USA and is the leading cause of drug poisoning cases…

In the midst of the tragedy of the thousands of people we lose to fentanyl poisoning and drug related deaths, it is imperative, as a collective, to take proper steps to protect and educate ourselves, fellow peers, and our youth.

July is Minority Mental Health Awareness month, which is a great reminder to stay tuned into our own mental health and that of our loved ones, especially in minority communities. No matter whether you or your loved ones struggle with substance abuse, something as simple as checking in to ask “how are you doing?” can go a long way—sometimes even save a life. Devoting ourselves to mental health means devoting to safer, happier communities for everyone. 💜
