Join us this Wednesday for the Community Support Program.

FFCF will be at Forest Hills Church on Wednesday, October 7 from 5:00 to 7:30 PM for the Community Support Program, open to the public. Our own and Rylie Whitledge will be featured speakers for the evening, alongside team member Rachel.

Everyone is welcome, bring a friend or family member who could use support or information.

Nine years ago today, we lost a legend to an accidental fentanyl overdose.

On October 2, 2017, Tom Petty passed away from an accidental overdose that included fentanyl, taken alongside other prescribed medications during treatment for a knee injury. His death was one of the moments that brought fentanyl’s danger into the mainstream conversation, a reminder that this crisis doesn’t discriminate.

As we head into World Mental Health Day next week, we’re reflecting on how connected pain management, mental health, and substance safety really are.

Beloved actress Hayden Panettiere recently passed away at only 36 years old, and tragic new reports confirm that her death was caused by a counterfeit opioid containing fentanyl. This is devastating but important proof that fentanyl can affect all of us, no matter our background. May her memory inspire us all to keep up the fight against overdoses deaths. 💜
