ECMC Group employees from around the country recently came together to celebrate the 139 nonprofit recipients of this year’s GO! Program awards—and the meaningful work they are doing to help students succeed.

Through the GO! Program (Generating Outcomes: Impacting Education in Our Communities), employees nominate organizations making a difference across the education continuum in their local communities. This year, ECMC Foundation is awarding more than $1 million to organizations serving students and advancing educational opportunity, particularly for underserved populations.

We’re proud to recognize these organizations and celebrate the employees whose nominations help direct support to causes that matter in the communities where we live and work.

ECMC Group ushered in National Wellness Month with a Wellbeing Fair where employees had the opportunity to explore company resources that support physical, financial, emotional and social wellbeing. From financial planning resources to mindfulness support, professional development opportunities and community connection, the fair helped employees explore practical steps toward better wellbeing.

Earlier this week, ECMC Group welcomed founders, mentors, investors and community partners for the MN Cup Education & Training showcase, marking our eighth year sponsoring this inspiring program. Each year, MN Cup gives us a front-row seat to entrepreneurs tackling real challenges in education and workforce training. We applaud the founders who are building solutions that can make a meaningful difference in our communities and appreciate the opportunity to support Minnesota's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Week one is in the books for the first Co-Lab cohort led by Saint Paul Promise! This summer’s cohort launched at the Northside Achievement Zone, marking an exciting new chapter for Co-Lab as it finds a permanent home at Saint Paul Promise through ECMC Group’s three-year investment.

Co-created by and for young adults, Co-Lab is all about helping participants build confidence, explore career pathways and take real steps toward the futures they choose for themselves. It’s inspiring to see this cohort begin building connections, leaning into new opportunities and shaping what comes next.

Employee volunteering at ECMC Group takes many forms, including team members using their time and talents to support our local communities. Recently, members of our IT department shared their expertise with Minneapolis-based nonprofit HIRED, helping the organization get settled into its new office space. ECMC Group has long supported HIRED’s work connecting job seekers with family-sustaining careers.

Target Field was a sea of green as ECMC Group employees showed up in Caring for the Community T-shirts for the 10th annual Pack at the Park event. More than 120 employees took part in the daylong effort, helping pack 933,120 meals for Feed My Starving Children.

ECMC Group team members culminated their National Volunteer Month activities last week by distributing more than 800 books to students at Northrop Elementary School in partnership with Reading Partners. Thank you to the hundreds of employees from around the country who gave their time and talents to nonprofits in their local communities throughout the month of April.

Tuesday was “Doing Day” at ECMC Group – an annual event where employees gather to create items for several area nonprofits. Together, team members assembled snack packs, created blankets and weaved toys for a variety of organizations including Face To Face, Hope 4 Youth, Eastside Neighborhood Services, Reading Partners, River Falls Food Pantry, and the Animal Humane Society. Doing Day is just one of the many volunteer events ECMC Group will be facilitating during National Volunteer Month.
