Millis Lions Club The Millis Lions Club wants everyone to see a better tomorrow. In addition, we help to provide eye care services to those at risk of losing their sight.

The Millis Lions Club Foundationis a 501c3 non-profit organization with only one mission... to serve those in need in our community, in our state, and around the world. Chartered on February 27, 1945, the Lions of Millis have been serving the citizens of our community. Through our fundraising efforts, we have been able to support cutting-edge vision research, feed the hungry, aid our senior citize

ns, offer scholarships to our graduating high school students and support many other charitable offerings within the community, for more than 80 years. That's why we support various eyesight programs and services including vision screenings, eye banks and eyeglass recycling. We strongly support, through our fundraising campaigns, individuals and programs in our local communities, as well as worldwide programs like SightFirst II. Our members live in and/ or work in the community and have forged strong bonds with their neighbors and local businesses. From performing hands-on service projects to providing emergency assistance, our community and environmental programs improve our community, and the communities around us – and protect the environment. Thank you to Senator Becca Rausch for your support of the amazing women in the Millis Lions Club. Although this not a picture of all of the women nominated (her office will be updating the image), the women in this photo are also very dedicated and hard working women in Lions Clubs within our district. Kudos to all the women in Lions! YOU ROCK!!

Today, we celebrate Women’s History Month with a first-ever group recognition! We’re spotlighting the women of the Millis Lions Club, who are making an outsized impact on their community through their selflessness and volunteer spirit. This dedicated and welcoming group of women work tirelessly to improve the health and welfare of their neighbors through free vision, hearing and health screenings and by running creative fundraisers to support eye research.

The women of the Millis Lions Club can be found beautifying the town, supporting Millis youth Scouting and sports programs, and helping families and individuals in need. We see you, Carol Baker, Katrina Campbell, Shefali Desai, Shelbe Doliner, Debbie Hayes, and your fellow Lions. Thank you all!
