Dear Bethany House Ministries Community,
As some of you know, our brother Nghia Vy, a longtime employee at the Bethany House Ministries Community was taken into custody and imprisoned by ICE in June, and a few months later was deported to Vietnam, a country he had not lived in for several decades. Nghia was found dead in his apartment in South Vietnam on November 6.
Those of us who were privileged to know him well and love him knew he was a giant of a man.
Nghia loved his Bethany family and often said it was the only family he had ever really had. His sudden and inexplicable death has broken the hearts of many. Many of you have asked what you can do to keep his memory alive. The Bethany House Board of Directors has proposed some ideas, but want to also invite your ideas. If you have any suggestions please add them to this post.
God bless you all!
