Althea’s Garden on 109 is growing beautifully and maintained by talented volunteers. Love the stone walkway! Bravo !
Farm Street continues to get trashed by humans. Please get a grip of your litter pigging it’s shameful. Moving the sign to Acorn next. Serial trashers should be easily caught and maybe police can give them a friendly warning to just stop.
Thank you Mass Improvement for trimming back this long walkway that now isn’t so scary to walk down. Pricker bushes cut back and you can see the nips and trash more easily to pick up. Litter picker score:)! A bag for a quick grab and go. Will the school keep this walkway up? I hope so.
Behind Roches/Stonybrook walkway to school I keep checking and holding steady but still getting trashed by lazy litter pigs that can’t carry there trash to a trash bin. Didn’t have the right attitude or a bin to pick it up but I’ll go back. No added broken glass or smashed TV’s so that’s a positive:) Maybe I’ll be surprised and someone else will, if you use that walkway simply pay it forward. I think landlords should step up more and maintain it and bend over and just pick up the trash. It’s important to kids that play and ride scooters and the families that walk to the parks, schools, work, shop and abutt these areas. It’s part of our Atleast 10 bags of trash were picked up by volunteers throughout the week, 45 minutes it took to blow the glass off the walkway with a high powered gas blower. It was too much for the average volunteer. Thanks to Michael and Olivia that supported that project.

Thank you to all the volunteers! AAA joined us and posted our event, Lyla and Phoebe, Millis Leo’s , teachers, coaches, students, residents, Lions Club, Scouts, Brenna Girard our Clyde Brown leader, Jay Girard and the Mass Improvement crew who did an outstanding job on a walkway kids take to school by 109, my husband Mike and daughter Olivia who helped with a nasty job today. Mikes still at it. Our school kids, workers, families who use the pathway from Plain Street to Stony Brook to get to Milliston Commons will notice the difference. Thank you to the resident who alerted me to this wooded area. We’re going to keep it nice. Thank you DPW for helping coordinate this day and picking up the yard debris and trash.

Arbor Day today, Special Olympics, and Millis Beautification day tomorrow.
Companies like Harrison McPhee, Mass. improvement, volunteers are keeping Millis Beautiful! Also great job to who ever has been working on the snack shed at the Millis HS!

Troop 15 Millis Scouts. Came out on Earth Day. Millis appreciates your service, Thank you!
Join us Saturday at 9am-12 Millis Town hall at our Lions Club welcome table for trash bags, orange vests, assignments and info. Clean up your neighborhood. Bags can be left along side the roadway for DPW to pick up. Bring work gloves. org to register early.

I’m loving my new trash picker, the brand is Vive. I follow some full time trash warrior’s on Instagram and I knew they would use the best. Reasonably priced, I got 2 if anyone needs to borrow. Also Technu is a great product to wash with to prevent poison ivy.

Started on the roadway but ended up in the woods. Some people have a strong throw as they chuck trash into the woods. Rewarding to see it cleaned up and all the new spring growth along the river.

Great surprise seeing this area cleared out by DPW on 109 near Dover Road. Looks so much better.
I’ve seen dog p**p and branches, yard waste being dumped here and that’s not cool. My dogs watch me pick up their p**p and they thank me.💩🌷
