Happy National Trails Day®!!! 🌲🌳🥾💙 Today kicks off Weekend!

CT Trails Day is all about getting people outside to discover new places, explore familiar ones, and connect with the incredible trails, parks, forests, and greenways across our state. For some, this weekend will be their very first time on a trail. For others, it's a chance to return to a favorite spot or try something new. That's what makes this weekend so special!

CHEERS to the Leaders who make possible! 🍻🦎💙

Last night we gathered to celebrate some of these incredible Leaders and kick off an amazing weekend ahead. It was so good to see everyone reconnecting, swapping stories, and gearing up for Saturday and Sunday.

Every year, over 300 volunteers from 70+ partner organizations give their time to share what they love most...Connecticut's trails and the outdoors. They're leading the way for 200+ free guided events, helping thousands of people connect with the outdoors. Many for the first time.

Big thanks to Rule of 3 Brewing for the hospitality, Pizzeria DaVinci of Cobalt for the pizza, and the Air Line State Park Trail Alliance for leading a bike ride to kick off the evening!
