TICK, TICK, TICK, TICKETS..................................................GET YOURS

Auditions and casting are over and rehearsals are underway. Performances of our fully staged production of The Pirates of Penzance are on Saturday, October 17th 2:00pm and 7:30pm and Sunday October 18th, 2:00pm at Valley Regional H.S., Deep River, CT.

This year's production of Pirates has a very large and tuneful cast. In addition to CG&SS talented regulars performing in principal roles, several of the lead roles in this year's show are being performed by some exceptionally talented newcomers to our group.

PLEASE HELP US PAY TRIBUTE TO A DEAR FRIEND AND AN OUTSTANDING PERFORMER

CG&SS alum Deanna Swanson is working on a tribute video to use at the memorial for her husband John, who passed away last month. Her Pinafore DVD from the 2006 production she did with John has never played correctly, and her VHS of the Pirates she and John did in 2002 now will also no longer play. Does anyone have a DVD or VHS of those shows that she might borrow to copy? The Pirates was double cast, so it would be the evening performance. If you can help, please DM her.

The auditions for principal roles in our October production of The Pirates of Penzance have ended. But, the first rehearsal for the show is not until Sunday, July 12th SO YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO PERFORM IN THE SHOW BY JOINING THE CHORUS.

October 17th and 18th The Connecticut Gilbert & Sullivan Society will be performing a fully staged production (and accompanied by a professional orchestra) of The Pirates of Penzance.

Watching it is fun. But being up on stage performing in it is even more fun. And, here is your opportunity.

Auditions for principal roles in the show are being held Sun, June 14th and Tuesday June 16th. All are welcome to audition for a principal role.
