Looking for a truly special addition to your family? ❤️🐴
Meet Muffin, a stunning 12-year-old Paint mare who rides like an absolute dream, and her gorgeous 5-month-old filly, Banana. The two can go separately as Banana is weaned and has made lots of friends to keep her company. Or the two may go together to a horse savvy home. Muffin is gentle, beautiful, and enjoyable under saddle, while little Banana is already turning heads with personality and charm. We believe Banana has the potential to become a performance horse! For more information message us here at Horse Protection Association of Florida or email [email protected] to come meet Muffin and Banana. 🥰😍

My name is Fish 🐟I am a six-year-old Thoroughbred gelding and DO I HAVE A STORY TO TELL! I was bought at Ocala Breeder’s Sales for $120,000 as a two-year-old. Then I was given to someone in Marion County who starved me and my herd mate. They said I was a body score of 2, and you could see all my ribs and my hip bones. The nice people at Horse Protection Association of Florida took me in and rehabilitated me. They helped me gain weight and took great care of me. I was then recently put up for adoption. But an unscrupulous person deceived the nice people at Horse Protection. They promised that they would love me forever, but they were actually trying to sell me! Horse Protection does not allow us horses to be sold. This is to protect us. God only knows where I would have ended up! When the nice people at Horse Protection found out, they swooped right in and took me back and now I am up for adoption again! This time I will be adopted into a forever home to someone who actually loves me! If you want to hear more about my story and to meet me, message here or email [email protected] .
Love,
Fish 🐟🐴❤️

Please share!! One of our community members reached out to us for help and, although it is not horse related, we wanted to help spread the word. A sudden illness has caused three dogs who were once loved to be homeless. Do you have room in your heart ❤️ and home 🏠 for one of these special four-legged kids?
Please do not message us here, you can contact Kathleen Lowyns at 352-219-2095 for more information.

Athena 🐶 - 12 y/o female spayed Black Shepherd/Chow mix. She gets around well even though she has a little arthritis. She would do well as an only dog, or as a companion to another older dog, in a quiet home with adults. She has a quiet temperament and enjoys affection.

Midnight 🐶- 12 y/o spayed female Black Shepherd/Chow mix. Awesome dog with a great personality who loves, loves, loves people. Very healthy and active, benefiting currently from Cosequin for age related inflammation. Good with kids and other dogs.

Shy 🐶 - 8-9 y/o neutered male Shepherd/Lab mix. Has a little arthritis in his shoulders but it doesn't keep him from running and playing. He gets along with everyone - adults, kids, other dogs, and absolutely loves affection.
