JOIN OUR HERD!
Horse Protection Association of Florida is growing! We are looking for two dedicated people to join our Equine Care Team. We are located in Micanopy, Florida just 20 minutes north of Ocala. We work hard, have fun, support each other and make a real difference in the lives of the precious equines in our care. The role includes: feeding, grooming, treating and recognizing injuries and illnesses. The Horse Protection horses are handled using natural horsemanship techniques. This position offers a great opportunity to learn and build your skills in natural horsemanship. This position is part time for approximately 20 hours a week with potential for more hours. They pay is $16-$19 an hour depending on experience. Candidates must have reliable transportation, be prompt, self-motivated and truly want to help the horses and organization succeed. Please note, background checks are required.

Welcome to Florida☀️ Today we were entrusted with the care of 12 horses. All of these horses were very much loved and doted on by a special non-profit horse welfare organization in Kentucky that is closing its doors after years of serving their community. That organization gave us the highest compliment by choosing Horse Protection Association of Florida to care for the horses that they have worked so hard to rescue and rehabilitate. Many of these horses are for adoption and we can certainly use our community's support in donations to provide for them. HORSE ANGELS ARE EVERYWHERE 🐴🪽❤️Recently a caregiver of 6 horses going through a temporary hard time due to an unexpected surgery reached out to us for help so that she could continue to feed her beloved horses. We put the word out and Berrettini Feed Specialists answered the call. Horse angels in the Horse Capital of the World- it's a beautiful thing 🪽🌹
