🕊️ Forever Our Angel Baby, Frey 🕊️
Our hearts are broken as we share the passing of our sweet angel baby, Frey. 💔
Frey was physically disabled since he hatched, but there was absolutely nothing small about his personality. He was strong, he was a fighter, and he brought an immeasurable amount of joy into our lives. He loved being held, adored his brother Karuna, and was happiest watching his favorite shows on his tablet. He was one of a kind, and life with Frey was a gift we will treasure forever.
Because of Frey’s physical disabilities, we knew from the beginning that his time with us might be shorter than we wished. But we made a promise to him: that whatever time he had, we would do everything in our power to make it a life filled with love, comfort, and happiness. ❤️
Just before he passed, we got Frey a very special chicken tractor of his own. We wanted him to experience the world in a new way, to feel the grass beneath him, enjoy the sunshine, and have his own little adventures. And he did just that. He loved being an adventure boy in the grass!
Frey passed peacefully in his bed after an afternoon of adventure. There will never be another Frey. We wish with everything in us that he hadn’t gotten his angel wings so soon.
We also want to take a moment to thank every single person who showed up for Frey during his rescue. The outpouring of love and support he received was extraordinary. So many people came together to give one very special chicken a chance at life, and we will be forever grateful to each and every one of you. You helped make Frey’s beautiful little life possible, and we hope you know how much that means to us.
Rest peacefully, sweet boy. We hope there is endless sunshine, soft grass, and every adventure your little heart could ever desire waiting for you. Give our love to all the angels until we meet again. 💕
