Last weekend, YWCA South Florida joined more than 10,000 community members at The Children’s Trust Family Expo, bringing families across Miami-Dade together with resources and support for the school year ahead! 

At our booth, families had the opportunity to learn more about YWCA programs and services, pick up some back-to-school goodies, and have a little fun with a game of Connect Four!

We’re grateful to The Children’s Trust for bringing together more than 120 Trust-funded providers and community partners for a day centered on helping children and families learn, grow, and thrive.

Last Friday, we wrapped up the summer by celebrating the growth, confidence, and accomplishments of our campers at our Under the Sea End of Summer Showcase!
 
From talent show performances and awards to games and time with family and friends, the day was a celebration of everything our campers learned, the friendships they built, and the memories they made throughout the summer.
 
Thank you to our campers, families, dedicated staff, and The Children’s Trust for making this season so special. Together, we’re creating spaces where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Long lines. Confusing rules. Bad information. Intimidation. These are real barriers that keep eligible voters from being heard, and they happen every election.
