At just 4 years old, Kelaya’s biggest wish was to become a zookeeper—and Zoo Miami made it come true in the most unforgettable way. Alongside her mom and dad, Kelaya spent the day exploring, learning, and meeting incredible animals with the one and only Ron Magill! 🐘

From bravely feeding giraffes to gently petting a tortoise, Kelaya’s curiosity and energy never slowed down. She asked endless questions, eager to learn everything she could—and loved every second of her special day.

It’s safe to say Kelaya had the BEST day ever 💫

At just 7 years old, Woody dreamed of becoming a firefighter—and thanks to the incredible team at , that dream became a reality! 👨🏼‍🚒

For one unforgettable day, Woody was welcomed as one of their own. From suiting up in his very own firefighter uniform and helmet to climbing inside a real firetruck, he stepped fully into the role of a hero. 🚨

He spent the day learning about the brave and adventurous work firefighters do, sharing laughs over lunch, and getting to know the crew who made him feel like part of the family from the very start.

Thank you, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, for going above and beyond to make Woody’s dream come true! ⭐

On April 22nd, our incredible Youth Leadership Committee hosted a Wits for Wishes, a night full of fun, laughter, and impact at Dania Improv in Fort Lauderdale!💡
 
From exciting team trivia battles to a raffle and delicious food, the energy in the room was contagious—and everyone had an amazing time!
 
We were especially honored to hear from Wish Kid Maddox, who shared the magic of his Disney wish and reminded us why this mission matters so much. 🏰
 
Thanks to the passion and dedication of our YLC, this event raised enough to grant 10 wishes for children in our community! We couldn’t be more proud of this inspiring group of students who continue to go above and beyond.

Whiskey & Wishes: A Night of Elevated Spirits, presented by Associates MD and Just Play ✨

Last month on April 16, we raised a glass (or two 🥃) to an unforgettable evening filled with purpose, celebration, and impact. From live music and a DJ that kept everyone dancing, to specialty cocktails, and an iconic champagne wall—it was truly a night to remember.

One of the most powerful moments of the night came from wish dad Bryan, who shared Liam’s journey and the joy of his wish to meet John Cena. A reminder of why we do what we do and the lasting impact these wishes create.

A huge thank you to for hosting such an incredible event, and to our amazing event chair Erin Watson, whose dedication made it all possible 💙

Because of our generous sponsors, donors, and every guest who showed up ready to celebrate, this year’s Whiskey & Wishes was record-breaking. We raised enough to grant 11 wishes for children across South Florida!
