Community is at the heart of everything we do, and today we want to share a massive thank you to our wonderful Board Member, Jessica Cristobal! For the last three years, Jessica has hosted her incredible annual Glam Soiree to benefit the youth in foster care served by Voices For Children.

This year’s event was unforgettable, bringing people together for an evening filled with shopping, dancing, delicious food, and drinks. But the true magic of the night was the collective impact made by everyone in the room. ✨

For young people navigating the foster care system, consistent support from our community changes the entire trajectory of their lives. Because of the dedication of champions like Jessica, we are able to provide the vital resources, stability, and trajectory-changing experiences that allow our youth to move from surviving to truly thriving.

The future is wide open for our youth! 🎓

Last week, our youth completed an incredible journey exploring six college campuses: Florida Atlantic University (FAU), University of South Florida (USF), University of Central Florida (UCF), Valencia College, Florida State University (FSU), and Florida A&M University (FAMU). During this trip, they connected with new opportunities and discovered exactly what is possible for their lives.

For young people navigating the foster care system, higher education can often feel like a distant concept. This tour changes that reality. By walking these campuses and speaking with students, our youth began transforming college from a distant possibility into a real, concrete plan. They explored new academic paths, laughed together, and built memories that will last a lifetime.

Sometimes, all it takes is seeing a path forward to start believing it is possible for you. Because of the support of our champions, we can continue to deliver these trajectory-changing experiences that empower our youth to dream far beyond their current circumstances. 🎓✨ From dreamers to future college students.

This week, our youth are exploring what’s possible through the Voices For Children College Tour! So far, they've visited Florida Atlantic University, the University of Central Florida, the University of South Florida, and Valencia College: learning about campus life, support programs, and the many paths available after high school.

For many youth in foster care, experiences like these help transform college from a possibility into a plan.

Every campus visited, every question asked, and every conversation had brings our youth one step closer to envisioning a future filled with opportunity.

And while this trip is all about exploring the future, we've also managed to squeeze in a little fun along the way, including a night of bowling, laughter, and team bonding.💙

Our community just got a lot brighter! We are incredibly grateful to Ticket to Dream Foundation and Santoki for sending us a wonderful shipment of 400 toys, gift sets, and creative accessories for our youth.

These character-themed gifts do essential work in the lives of young people navigating foster care. Receiving something brand new and special gives a child a tangible sense of belonging and personal worth. These positive childhood experiences are vital because they provide the healing moments of comfort that help our youth move forward into a stable future.
