Throwback Thursday to Walk the Talk Hollywood last year at Hollywood North Beach Park!

From the energy on the beach to the music, vendors, and community coming together, it was a morning full of fun, purpose, and connection as we walked together to support people living with epilepsy.

And now we’re getting ready to do it all again!

Join us for this year’s Walk the Talk Hollywood on May 16 for our final walk of the spring season. Registration starts at 8:00 AM and the walk begins at 9:00 AM.

Betty was just a teenager when she experienced her first seizure, a moment that changed everything. Adjusting to life with epilepsy brought challenges, especially in school, where memory difficulties made things even harder.

Through the support of the Alliance, Betty found guidance, education, and a community that helped her better understand her condition. Connecting with others and learning how to manage her health gave her the confidence to keep pushing forward.

Today, Betty is working toward a career in nursing, proving that with support and determination, a diagnosis does not define your future. 💜
