Some people volunteer. Some become part of the heart of the place. 💙🐴

Longtime volunteer Cassandra loves everything about spending time at Whispering Manes—and she has one piece of advice: come volunteer!

From the horses and riders in the program to the friendships and memories made along the way, there’s so much to love about being part of this community.

Take it from Cassandra… you might just fall in love with volunteering, too. 💙

Nap goals: unlocked. 😴🐴

Did you know horses can sleep standing up? Thanks to a special “stay apparatus” in their legs, they can relax their muscles and rest without lying down.

Basically… horses perfected the power nap. 😂💤

Many hands. One incredible impact. 💙

A huge thank you to the Travis Manion Foundation volunteers who spent several days at Whispering Manes helping build a new paddock for the horses in the program. 🐴🔨

From digging and setting posts to fencing and plenty of teamwork, their hard work created something that will make a lasting difference.

We are so grateful for the time, energy, and heart you brought to Whispering Manes. If not me, then who? 💙

Big news for the horses in the program! 🐴💙

In addition to being recognized as a 2026 EQUUS Foundation Guardian, Whispering Manes has received a $2,000 grant from the EQUUS Foundation to support horse care!

This recognition and funding reflect the commitment that goes into maintaining high standards of care for the horses in the program.
A huge thank you to everyone whose hard work, dedication, and attention to detail helped make both the Guardian designation and this grant possible. This one is a team win! 🏅🐎💙
