Camillus House Camillus House has provided humanitarian services/programs changing lives of the homeless since 1960

Established by the Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd in 1960, Camillus House has grown steadily over the years from a small overnight shelter into a full service center offering a full “continuum of care” for persons who are poor and homeless. Every service offered at Camillus is carried out with the deeply held belief that every human being is precious in the eyes of the Lord and deserves love, respect, and a chance to live a dignified life. Camillus does much more than offer a free meal, medical care, a shower, or drug treatment. It offers a second chance to the desperate, the lonely, and the ones society has left behind. Many of the clients who come to Camillus House have nowhere else to go. They have no friends, no family, and no loved ones to help them through their times of trouble. Camillus House becomes their family, giving them the hope and support they need to begin the long, difficult transition to a new life and self-sufficiency.

Today  was a celebration of what happens when generosity meets purpose!
For the past three years, Mobile Enterprise Resource (MER), Luis, and the incredible Amazon teams have continued to show up for Camillus House, not only through generous contributions, but through their time, dedication, and genuine commitment to the individuals we serve.
 
Today’s donation, check presentation, and campus tour were a beautiful reminder that the greatest partnerships aren’t simply about giving, they’re about caring enough to keep showing up, year after year.
 
To Luis and the entire MER and Amazon teams: We are humbled by your generosity, inspired by your commitment, and deeply grateful for the hearts behind your support.
 
Because when a community comes together with compassion, we do more than make a difference.

Today, our Camillus House team enjoyed a lunch hosted by Florida Blue in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Thank you, Florida Blue, and our wonderful Board Memever Ivy Patron for bringing our community together to raise awareness, celebrate hope, and stand beside those affected by breast cancer. Together, we care. Together, we make a difference. 🎀

💜 FROM SURVIVING TO CREATING A TOMORROW.  🐦‍🔥
 
Human trafficking can take away safety, freedom, trust and hope. At Camillus House, Project Phoenix is about helping survivors reclaim them.
 
Through safe housing, trauma-informed treatment, counseling, case management, medical support, and pathways to employment and permanent housing, we walk alongside adult survivors as they heal, rebuild and move toward independence. 
 
Because escaping trafficking is only the beginning. Recovery takes safety. Recovery takes community. Recovery takes all of us.

🎲✨ What a night! Our Fourth Annual Casino Night was a tremendous success. A night filled with excitement, entertainment, and unforgettable moments, all in support of Camillus House!

Today, we were honored to welcome City of Miami Edwin Lopez and members of his team to Camillus House for a meaningful visit with our CEO, Eddie Gloria , and a walk through our campus.
 
From great conversation to seeing our mission firsthand, today was about connection, collaboration, and strengthening the relationships that help make Miami a stronger community for everyone.
 
We’re grateful to Chief Lopez and his team for showing up, walking alongside us, and taking the time to experience the heart of Camillus House.
