Today, we celebrate some of the strongest mothers in the world — our cancer moms. 💖💛

Every single day, these incredible women put their children before anything and everything else. Their strength, courage, sacrifice, and unconditional love cannot be measured. Through every appointment, every sleepless night, every fear, and every victory, they continue on with endless love for their children.

At our Mother’s Day celebration, the children poured their hearts into making special Mother’s Day crafts and had the sweetest time shopping in our little Mother’s Day store for surprises to bring home to their moms. Watching them carefully pick out beautiful trinkets, candles, and thoughtful gifts filled our hearts with so much joy knowing how excited they were to make this morning extra special for the women who mean everything to them.

The moms also had a beautiful celebration of their own, enjoying a mimosa brunch together, wearing their gorgeous crowns, and making heartfelt cards for their children. For a few hours, they were able to relax, laugh, connect, and feel celebrated for the incredible women and mothers they are.

A huge thank you to and Mario Dominguez for donating so many wonderful items for our children to choose from and helping create such meaningful memories for these families.

And to everyone who continues to support our mission — thank you for helping us bring love, joy, and moments of happiness to children battling cancer and the families who fight beside them every single day.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our amazing moms. You are deeply loved, endlessly appreciated, and truly extraordinary. 🌸

✨🌊 🐠Under the Sea Magic at Family Fun Night 🌊✨🐠

This month’s Family Fun Night at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital was filled with imagination, creativity, and so many smiles as we dove “under the sea” together 🐠💙

Our incredible kids and their super siblings designed their very own aquariums, complete with floating fish, bringing their underwater worlds to life. They painted beautiful seashells and created special jewelry with ocean-themed beads.
Each child also got to pick out a fun fishing game and received a backpack filled with under-the-sea surprises to take back to their rooms—because the joy doesn’t end when the night does. The nurses and parents of our kids who were unable to leave their rooms made sure to come and get all the goodies to take back to our sweet Heroes.

Moments like these remind us how powerful play, creativity, and a little bit of magic can be. We are so grateful to everyone who helps us to bring these experiences to such brave and inspiring children and their families.

For the past 13 years, through our Family Fun Night program, we’ve been bringing joy, laughter, and togetherness to our inpatient children battling cancer at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. This program started in 2013, is a highlight of our mission: to enhance the lives of our children through arts, play, and meaningful engagement. These moments—simple, joyful, and filled with love—matter more than words can say. They help our kids and families get through the most difficult of times, one smile at a time.
