Last week, donor generosity became something our students could see, feel, and carry with them.

At the José Andrés event, they met people they admire, connected with inspiring role models like former Hell’s Kitchen contestant Bradley Delgado, and got a glimpse of what their own futures in the culinary world could look like.

But the most meaningful part? They weren’t just watching from the sidelines. Our culinary students helped run the Miami Book Fair Author Hospitality Lounge, stepping into a real professional setting and proving to themselves that they belong there.

That is the power of donor support: opening doors, creating moments of confidence, and turning a student’s dream into something they can actually picture for themselves.
