Friday Full Circle Moment- Because of a historic partnership between two visionaries Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson & Chief Michael Kemp, we were able to witness a cohort of the City of Miami Firefighters EMS Cadets’ graduation. Joshua Rodriguez, a 2019 Role model / Wilson Scholar, walked across the stage with pride as he realized his dream. ”

Today, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, Director & CEO Hydi Webb and members of the PortMiami executive team joined the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project to welcome the newest mentors into the distinguished program.

The 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project is a dropout prevention and mentoring initiative, where students grade K-12 and college are guided to enhance their readiness into their future careers.
