MUD.foundation SUPPORT US
Mud Foundation is experimenting with new ways to build relationships between donors and creators. While this big dream is in the making.

An innovative nonprofit organization dedicated to the development of art, technology, and educational programs, with a focus on accessible XR technology in the arts and education. We are building a decentralized and fragmented framework for direct donations to different projects and artists. Our goal is to fully achieve a DAO, blockchain-based decentralized autonomous organization system that prov

ides different levels of access and direct funding. Visit our membership plans and NFT’s market. We are Miami’s only 5o13c organization focused on art and technology. https://mud.foundation/support-us

Read if you’re a coder 🧑‍💻👩‍💻👨‍💻 XRCamp students are writing behavior scripts inside XR Creator Studio.
The scripting language is JavaScript — but built around a lifecycle system unique to the MUD XR Platform. Every object in the world can carry a Behaviour script. That script runs three functions:
startup() — fires once when the object is instantiated in the scene.
update(delta, time) — fires on every frame, driving continuous behavior.
dispose() — fires when the object is destroyed, cleaning up resources.
The lifecycle(startup, update, dispose) directive at the top connects the script to those hooks. Students are using the console to log output, test values, and debug in real time — the same workflow professional developers use.
By Day 4, they’re not just building worlds. They’re programming what happens inside them.

Day 4. XRCamp Spring 2026.
This morning, students configured their first AI agents inside the MUD XR Platform — building intelligent, responsive characters that live inside their immersive worlds.
This afternoon: back to the desk. 3D scanned objects, 3D printed figures, and JavaScript running in XR Creator Studio. The scan becomes a model. The model becomes a world. The world gets an AI agent.
Two more days. Friday is the exhibition.

On XRcamp day one last Friday, young artists learned the fundamentals of a 3D engine software and a brief history of the technology and arts.
From the first polygons ever rendered to the immersive worlds being built today, our students got a front-row seat to how creativity and code have always pushed each other forward. 🎨💻
They explored how 3D environments work from the ground up — lights, geometry, cameras, and space — and began to see the digital canvas as their own.
It was just day one, and already the room was buzzing with curiosity and bold ideas. These young creators aren’t just learning tools — they’re discovering a new language to tell their stories. 🌐✨
More to come as XRcamp unfolds. Stay tuned. 🚀

On February 27 at 8:00 PM, join us for Multichannel Music / Sound Works, a concert dedicated to works composed specifically for spatialized sound across multiple speakers, featuring Richard Garet and José Hernández Sánchez .

Sound moves through space, tracing trajectories, depth, and motion as essential elements. Space becomes a living dimension of the works.

Happy New Year 2026 🎉 XRCamp Winter Recap
XRCamp Winter Camp was a six-day Art + Technology program for youth ages 10–17, held at the MUD Foundation XRHub Lab in Miami-Dade County. The camp introduced participants to creative digital production through hands-on workshops focused on 3D spaces, sound, coding, and online art environments.

Throughout the camp, students worked through a rotating station model, allowing each group to explore different tools and creative approaches. Activities included basic 3D modeling, creative coding with simple JavaScript logic, building XR environments, experimenting with spatial sound, and exploring digital exhibitions and public domain artworks. The program also introduced youth to internet-based art practices, helping them understand digital culture as a space for artistic expression.

The camp followed a process-based structure. Early days focused on context, imagination, and skill-building, while later sessions emphasized open lab time, project development, and connecting ideas across stations. Students were encouraged to think about how visuals, sound, interaction, and space come together to form a cohesive virtual world.

Open Lab days allowed participants to refine their projects, document objects through 3D scanning, experiment with portals between virtual spaces, and prepare their work for presentation. The program concluded with informal presentations, where students shared their virtual worlds with peers, instructors, and families.

We are grateful to the youth who participated, and to the families who supported and trusted us throughout the camp. Thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible!

This program was supported by the Youth Arts Enrichment (YEP) Grants Program, funded by The Children’s Trust and administered by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, Microsoft, among other supporters.
