At BLOOM, we believe financial coaching is about so much more than budgets and credit scores. It’s about helping people build confidence, create stability, and believe that a brighter future is possible.

Today, we’re celebrating Andrea Abril through the heartfelt words of one of the residents she has had the privilege of coaching.

For Bradly, the BLOOM Scholarship has meant one less barrier on his journey toward becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. It has given him the freedom to keep moving forward without letting finances slow him down.

For Bezawit, receiving a BLOOM Scholarship meant more than financial support. It gave her the opportunity to pursue her dream of becoming a licensed beauty professional and move one step closer to the future she’s been working toward.

Stephanie, a resident at Vista Woods , shares how BLOOM’s credit counseling program helped her rebuild during a difficult time.

Step by step, with guidance, patience, and consistent support, she was able to regain a sense of control and raise her credit score by 60 points in just a few months.

Her story is a reminder that progress doesn’t happen overnight, but with the right support, it does happen.

Back in 2023, Monterey Pines came alive. 🌟

Kids lined up for face painting, families gathered around good food, and laughter was everywhere you looked. And then came the momen—scholarship recipients stepping up one by one, families cheering the most genuine kind of cheer.

These weren’t strangers celebrating a program. These were neighbors celebrating each other. The recipients that day weren’t just getting financial support. They were being seen. Told out loud that their goals matter and that they have someone in their corner, rooting them on.

We think about days like this a lot. The face paint. The food. The smiles that didn’t need a reason beyond just being there together. That’s always been the heart of it — beyond the paperwork and the programs, it’s the moments in between that matter.

We’re still here. Still showing up. 🩵
