Pre-arrival video of a 1st Alarm residential fire in Mesa this week.

Crews arrived to find significant fire involvement to the structure. Firefighters confirmed there were no occupants in the residence and successfully prevented the spread of this wind-driven fire to other structures. No injuries were reported.

Another busy night in Mesa for fire crews last night!

Engine 207 arrived quickly to a reported house fire to find heavy fire in a single family home. The assignment was balanced to a 1st alarm assignment, bringing in nearby crews from Chandler, Gilbert and Tempe to assist. A rapid fire attack prevented extension to neighboring homes while a search for occupants was completed. No injuries were reported.

Mesa Firefighters responded in the early hours of 1/24/26 to a 3rd alarm apartment fire in the area of Dobson and Baseline. Multiple victims sustained critical burns and were treated and transported to a local burn center. Firefighters from Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert and Tempe worked overnight and into the next day to control this difficult fire and prevent extension to nearby buildings. Numerous residents were evacuated and taken to a nearby school for shelter. Our thoughts are with the families affected by this fire.
