Hazardous Materials crews recently practiced mitigating a Chlorine leak on a Chlorine cylinder.

A harrowing landing with a safe ending.

Fire crews responded to Mesa-Gateway Airport after a Piper Seminole made a gear-up landing Saturday afternoon. Two people safely escaped the aircraft with no injuries.

Crews quickly secured the scene, confirmed there was no visible fuel leak, and ensured the aircraft was safely shut down.

Great work by everyone involved in bringing this incident to a safe conclusion.

This weekend, we remembered our fallen brothers Paul Shupe and Mark Keller, along with every fallen firefighter across the IAFF.

Their absence felt, their service remembered, and the impact they left on our fire service and the people beside them lives on.

We carry their names, their memories, and their legacy with us.

Mesa Firefighters responded to a recycling truck fire on the morning of 9/14/26 in the area of Warner Rd and Signal Butte Rd in Mesa. The truck experienced fire impingement within the CNG system, causing a rapid and violent spread of fire. Crews arrived within minutes and extinguished the flames from a distance.

25 years ago, 343 firefighters lost their life in the horrific attacks on the World Trade Center. Today—and every day—we honor the innocent lives taken on September 11, 2001, as well as the brave first responders who continue to suffer from toxic exposure illness.

Bystander video from a recent palm tree fire caused by a lightning strike. Engine 210 arrived quickly and extinguished the fire before it could spread to nearby structures or vehicles. This is one of the many hazards monsoon storms create. Please keep your property storm ready!
