Thank you to all the community member volunteers that joined Natural Restorations for their annual National Public Lands Day cleanup event on the lower Salt River. 🫶

Volunteers gathered at the Phon D. Sutton recreation area on Saturday along the Salt River in the Tonto National Forest for a clean up event celebrating National Public Lands Day.

Picking up trash that isn't yours feels small in the moment. It's not. Every piece you grab is one less thing in the water, one less thing an animal finds first. Stewardship isn't a special event, it's what you do on a normal Tuesday hike.
