October is ending, but the conversation shouldn’t.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month gives us an opportunity to pause, learn, and talk about something that matters all year long: how we build relationships grounded in respect, safety, and dignity.

This means creating a culture where young people feel comfortable talking about relationships—when they're happy, when they're confused, when they're hurting, and when something doesn't feel right.

Because prevention isn't a one-month conversation. It's something we build together, one relationship, one conversation, and one young person at a time.

As October comes to a close, let's promise each other to keep listening. Keep asking questions. Keep teaching respect. Keep making space for connection.

And let's continue building a world where every young person knows:
You have value. You deserve respect. And you are never alone.

It’s post-Walk Wednesday! 💜
What a powerful day we had on Sunday standing with survivors, promoting the power of prevention, and holding space to honor and remember those lost to domestic violence homicide in Massachusetts this year.

We showed up! The Strength of US was fully visible with hundreds of walkers and 33 teams joining us—showing the incredible impact of a community that cares about ending domestic violence and strengthening relationships, families, and our communities.

✨ 33 incredible teams are registered, and together they’ve raised over $10,500 to support essential MAAV programs. The community support is amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you all!

🚨 LEADERBOARD UPDATE! 🚨
The standings have shifted, and the friendly competition is heating up:
🥇 Hillside ("as the best side") is holding strong in 1st place!
🥈 MUUC has been climbing up the leaderboard and is now in 2nd place, surpassing $1,000 in donations!
🥉 Reading Coop is holding tight to 3rd place with nearly $1,000 raised!
