🌳 Volunteers Needed! Help Us Spruce Up Airport Park! 🌳

Our Rotary Club is hosting a clean-up project, and we need your hands to make a big impact in our community!

🗓️ When: Saturday, June 20th⏰ Time: 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM📍 Where: Airport Park

What we're doing: Public Works is dropping off a delivery of hog fuel (big bark dust) near the back of the park. We will be loading it into wheelbarrows, rolling it over to the park paths, and spreading it out to refresh the trails! 🪵✨

🛠️ What to bring:Public Works is anticipated to provide wheelbarrows, but it's unknown how many shovels they will bring. If you have any of the following tools at home, please bring them along:PitchforksShovelsLarge rakes (no leaf rakes, please!)Let's work together to keep our parks beautiful! Calling all McMinnville Sunrise Rotarians!

We have a wonderful opportunity to support our local community and help some of our youngest neighbors fall in love with reading. 📚✨

Over the next few weeks, kindergarten through second-grade classes will be taking field trips to the public library. To make their day even more memorable, the students will also get to play at the Dragon Park playground.

Help us create a friendly, safe, and welcoming atmosphere while these kiddos play!

Members of McMinnville Sunrise Rotary rolled up their sleeves to spread bark and help beautify Airport Park. The results look amazing! A huge thank you to the incredible volunteers from McMinnville High School Robotics Team and Cub Scout Pack 454 for your hard work, energy, and community spirit. We’re excited to see everyone at Airport Park tomorrow from 8:30–11:00 AM! 🌿

A quick heads up: Public Works has several groups helping at parks this weekend, so there will be fewer shared tools available than usual. If you have a wheelbarrow, garden cart, shovel, or rake, please bring it along if you can—we’ll be able to get the job done even faster together! 💪
