🎨 Applications Are Now Open for the Grier Grant! 🎨
The Traveling Light Foundation is excited to launch the Grier Grant, a $1,000 award designed to support artists and creatives in Yamhill County, Oregon as they pursue educational opportunities, training, apprenticeships, workshops, supplies, and other opportunities for artistic growth.
Who Can Apply?
✅ Yamhill County residents
✅ Age 16 or older
✅ Artists and creatives in any medium
📅 Application Deadline: August 7, 2026
🏆 Awarded: September 2026
At the Traveling Light Foundation, we believe that education can illuminate paths of discovery and innovation. Through the Grier Grant, we hope to help emerging artists continue their creative journeys and pursue their dreams.

This weekend, members of the TLF Youth Committee spent time at Masonic Cemetery placing flags beside the headstones of Veterans who served our country with courage and sacrifice. It was a small act of gratitude, but one filled with deep respect and remembrance. 💚

We are especially grateful for our Vice President, whose ongoing dedication helps maintain the beauty and care of these sacred grounds year-round.

As we pause this Memorial Day, we hope everyone took a moment to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice — the brave souls who gave all, and the ones gone far too soon. Their service, courage, and legacy will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸💚
