"See Ya Later" Foundation Vision: Inspiring Youth ~ Encouraging Families
www.seeyalater.org Foundation’s three-part outreach includes:

1.

The “See Ya Later” Foundation is a non-profit organization, began out of the inspiration of a 12 year old boy who died of cancer. Scott Banke had a zest for life and a courage that motivates the mission of the Foundation which is: INSPIRING YOUTH ~ ENCOURAGING FAMILIES. Although we do not own or manage it, our organization helped raise the funds to build Scotty’s Playhouse; one of the Northwest's

largest indoor play structure which available free to the community almost every day of the week for free open-playtimes, party reservations, and community events. "See Ya Later" Youth Camps and Activities: Currently offers basketball, football, soccer, music and fishing derbies to families with minimal or no financial obligation. And various youth competitions such as; cooking, baking, Lego, etc.

2. Scott Banke Memorial Scholarships: Awards a one-time $2,000 Scholarship to graduating High School Seniors from McMinnville(2), Newberg(2), Dayton, Yamhill-Carlton, Amity, Sheridan and Willamina and one At-Large award.

3. Seeds of Hope: Provides encouragement and resources to families in their time of greatest time of need when a parent or child is stricken with a life-threatening medical crisis.

🎉 WELCOME TO THE TEAM, GABBY! 🎉

We’re excited to officially welcome Gabby Crist to the See Ya Later Foundation staff as our new Marketing & Events Coordinator!

Gabby joined us this summer as an intern through the First Federal Community Internship Program, and it didn’t take long for us to realize we wanted to keep her around! ❤️

A Linfield University graduate, Gabby brings great energy, creativity, a willingness to jump in wherever needed, and a heart for our community. We were lucky enough to add her to our team, and today is officially her first day!

We’re excited to have Gabby take on this new role and can’t wait to see her creativity shine through our events, marketing, and community outreach.

What a fun weekend! 🚗🎉

We simply can’t say enough good things about the Cruising McMinnville team and the incredible event they put together!

It takes an army of volunteers to pull off an event as big as Cruising McMinnville, and their volunteers are truly amazing. We are so grateful for the time and energy they pour into making the weekend such a special experience for everyone.

And then… they decided to make an already awesome weekend even MORE FUN by adding a Poker Run! 🃏🚘

Cruising McMinnville and Visit McMinnville invited the See Ya Later Foundation to help coordinate the Poker Run. About 50 cars hit the road to explore the beautiful countryside around our community and we had an absolute blast being part of it.

From everything we heard, it sounds like everyone is already ready to do it again next year! 🙌
