Latino-American jazz pianist Joshua Espinoza blends and bends genres into songs that are immediately relatable yet hard to define.
Joshua Espinoza Trio

Alongside bassist Kris Monson and drummer Jaron Lamar Davis, the Joshua Espinoza Trio explores the undefined space between jazz improvisation, classical chamber music, pop aesthetics, and folk traditions. Their releases have been featured on Spotify's genre-defining playlist State of Jazz, and their introspective cover of Billy Joel's "And So It Goes" reached the Top 40 on Spotify's Global Jazz Charts.

Frequent tours have taken them to major listening rooms including Blues Alley, Keystone Korner, The Jazz Kitchen, The Bop Stop, and the DC Jazz Festival. Their critically acclaimed albums, Journey Into Night and Songs from Yesterday are available on all platforms. Espinoza proudly resides in Baltimore where he serves on the faculty of the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University.
