Annual Cornhole Tournament, Family Fun Day with Food, Live Music, Silent Auction, Raffles. Fundraising event for Samantha Funding The Arts

THIS IS AN AMATUER TOURNAMENT TO RAISE MONEY FOR A LOCAL CHARITY Samantha Funding The Arts. Our charity helps to supplement funding for the Arts in our local schools & community. This is a social tournament to raise money to benefit the youth of Garrett County. If you are a ranked competitive player in the ACO, ACA or any other ranked Cornhole Association, we kindly request that your refrain from

participating in this tournament. Format: Doubles Team, Double Elimination.
$60.00 per team entry fee. Cash Prizes

Slots for 64 Teams Maximum

Registration Fee: $60.00 per team

All players participating in the Samantha Funding The Arts Corn Hole Tournament will be required to read, agree and sign the waiver below before participating. This will be done upon signing in the day of the tournament. (see waiver below)

All proceeds benefit The Samantha Funding The Arts Foundation. (This foundation is a registered affiliate of Landon's Library (TIN #61-1508894)

This young man, Ryan Dent is the son of one of our longtime supporters, Jeanette Dent! He was in a pretty bad hit and run accident. Jeanette would bring her whole crew to Samantha’s Co****le tournament every year! Let’s now show up and show this Co****le family our love & support in their time of need!

12 years ago 3 families came together to honor their children who had passed away and to raise money to support the kids of Garrett County through their individual Charities (Landon's Library, Samantha Funding The Arts Foundation & Andrew S. Woods Scholarship Fund)! That 1st year, we were pretty broken and God used Bill Weissgerber and Brian and Crystal Boal to help us heal! God brought us and our community together and since then great healing has taken place and great things have been done in our community for Garrett County's Kids!

This is all because of you, Garrett County and beyond loving us and supporting us through the worst of the worst! From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!!

Our 13th Annual WGW Community Youth Cup is 23 days away! If you would like to continue to support us here are the ways you can help keep this going....

-Attend our Kick Off Celebration Dinner at the Greene The Greene Turtle on Thursday August 22nd! Their will be special guests, live music, food, silent & live auction! This is a way for those who don't golf to be a part of our annual fundraiser!

-Register to golf in our annual Golf Tournament at the Premier Thousand Acres Golf Club on Friday, August 23rd.

-Donate a silent auction item or Raffle Basket for our Kick Off Celebration! Contact June McClosky via messenger or text 301-616-2990 to donate!

Co****le Tournament Announcement!

Samantha's 2023 Co****le Tournament will not be held this year! We are passing the torch!

It is with mixed emotions that we announce that due to our participation in other fundraisers (which also benefit Samantha Funding The Arts) and our schedules, it's time for us to pass this successful fundraiser off to another local Non-Profit who was looking for ways to raise money.

We will give all of the details as soon as we have them finalized with the other group! But for now we just wanted to let our faithful corn hole teams, volunteers, sponsors & donors know that the event will not be held this fall.

The other non-profit is planning to host this event in 2024 and we will be walking them through how we've done it all these years! We will be posting updates and information on our pages, website and sending to our email list.

From the bottom of our hearts we thank you all for your love & support over the years!

Wow, just Wow! Charlie and I just can't believe it! We Grossed over $20,000 at The 2022 Samantha's Co****le Tournament & Fall Fest! God is so good and so is our community! Thank you to everyone who made this possible! First and foremost our faithful group of friends who have volunteered to help us since 2013 and all of the new volunteers! You make this happen! Our Sponsors, The Co****le teams and everyone donated items, attended and spent money at the event! Because of you all we can turn around and put this money back into our schools and community to Keep the Arts Alive!

Anyone playing in our upcoming tournament on Saturday, please note: We supply all boards & bags. You will not be permitted to play with your own bags!

This is a fundraiser, we try to keep it social and fun! We will have food, beer and lot's of other fun stuff! No coolers allowed and no need to bring your own chairs!
